At HabiTrak, we respect your privacy rights and comply with data protection regulations including GDPR. You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data and account at any time.
How to Request Data Deletion
To request the deletion of your account and all associated personal data, please send an email to our support team with the following information:
Email Request Template:
- Your registered email address
- Your full name as registered in the app
- Your organization name (if applicable)
- Reason for deletion (optional)
What Data Will Be Deleted
Upon your request, we will delete the following data:
- Your account profile information (name, email, contact details)
- All personal data you have submitted through the application
- Usage history and activity logs associated with your account
- Any uploaded documents or files linked to your account
- Communication preferences and settings
Important Note:
Some data may be retained for legal compliance purposes, such as financial records or data required by housing regulations. We will inform you if any data must be retained and for how long.
Processing Time
We will process your data deletion request within 30 days of receiving it. You will receive:
- An acknowledgment email within 48 hours confirming we have received your request
- A verification email to confirm your identity and the deletion request
- A final confirmation email once your data has been successfully deleted
Alternative: Data Export
Before requesting deletion, you may want to export your data. Under GDPR, you have the right to data portability. Contact us at support@habitrak.co.uk to request a copy of your personal data in a machine-readable format.
